After winning Best Puppy in Sweepstakes at the Afghan Hound Club of America National Specialty, 2003, Santana returns to the USA and wins a 5-point major at Bucks County KC on May 1, 2004. Santana was handled by his co-breeder Barbara Cassidy (Casbar Afghans). He is owned by Christian Taillon and his breeder Louise Ouimet Lavigne (DeLouBelle Afghans).
He was RWD at the 2004 AHCA National Specialty under Judge Gill Ullom.
Santana's breeding has been repeated, with the litter born on February 28, 2004.
Santana's sister, Oprah (Can Ch. DeLouBelle Maya Casbar's Dream), was Best Puppy at the Canadian National Specialty, 2003.
